Have I Got a Book for You!
Terry Pratchett’s Discworld. There are at least 36 books in the series involving different groups of characters (the Witches, the Wizards, the City Watch, and the ever-popular DEATH). They are all fun but my favourite titles involve The Witches. Titles include:
- Equal Rites (1987)
- Wyrd Sisters (1988)
- Witches Abroad (1991)
- Lords and Ladies (1992)
- Maskerade (1998)
- Carpe Jugulum (2000)
For anyone interested in plunging into the Discworld, you might want to take a look at the Wikipedia article on Discworld (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discworld). It gives a great overview of this amazing world.
The Meg Lanslow mystery series by Donna Andrews This is a very funny mystery series revolving around Meg Lanslow, a decorative blacksmith with a passion for murder and mayhem. A quirky family and over-the-top situations make for a fun read.
